日光下駄 厚底
8〜10cmの厚みがある「厚底下駄」です。現代のファッション「厚底靴」から発想を得た、若者にこそチャレンジしてほしい一足。台木の材料は桐で、且つ穴が開いているため、見た目よりも軽やかに履いていただけます。今回は台木の穴に鹿沼組子をはめ込み、日光と鹿沼の伝統工芸コラボレーション作品として制作した特別版です。※穴を抜かないバージョンも制作できます。

Thick-soled Nikko geta (Japanese wooden clogs)
"Thick-soled geta" with a thickness of 8 to 10 cm. Inspired by modern thick-soled platform shoes, these Japanese wooden ‘geta’ shoes are a great fit for young people. Made from paulownia wood with holes inside, they are far lighter than they appear. This special edition is a collaboration between the two unique Tochigi-based traditional crafts of Nikko Geta and Kanuma Kumiko (wooden paneling), since each hole in the sandals is filled with wooden panels. A version is also available without any holes inside the sandals.
